Four minutes is the time it took Sevrine Labelle to make one of the biggest decisions of her life. It is said that our brain generates one thought per second. So there were 240 thoughts that should have been on her mind at that very moment, but only one thought that captured her attention: how she could make a real difference to society. Sévrine Labelle is President and CEO of Evol. Evol was born out of the evolution of the Femmessor organization, which had been working to develop women's entrepreneurship for over 25 years. Evol's mission is to contribute directly to the creation, growth and acquisition of diversified and inclusive businesses that have a positive impact on society. Under its leadership, more than sixty specialized resources are working in the 17 regions of the province. Her career, crowned with numerous achievements, has revealed a woman of action who knows how to be bold in achieving her goals. With a bachelor's degree in communication-politics and a master's degree in administration, Ms. Labelle was only 29 years old when she was first appointed to the executive director of an organization in the Eastern Townships. Her experience has also taken her ���� to live and work in Africa and Latin America. Ms. Labelle also has solid experience in economic development and coaching for entrepreneurs. She worked for more than 7 years at the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal. Very involved in her community for many years, Sévrine Labelle was a member of the board of directors of the Société des célébrations du 375e anniversaire de Montréal, the Fondation du Startup de Montréal, the Réseau réussite Montréal and the Verdun organization Toujours Ensemble.
