Katell

Burot

A passionate entrepreneur, Katell Burot is the Co-Founder and President of Carrément Tarte, a fast-growing company specialising in the manufacture of pie dough. A certified professional accountant by training, Katell comes from a business background. She has also worked for more than 15 years in auditing and consulting services for large firms in France and Canada. Katell is a graduate of Sciences Po and holds a master's degree in finance and accounting from the University of Paris-Dauphine. A woman of conviction, Katell is also very involved in the development of the agri-food sector. She sits on the boards of the Conseil des Industries Bioalimentaires de l'île de Montréal and the Regroupement des Tables de Concertation du Québec, as President. She is also a director of Aliment du Québec, and treasurer of the Agri-Food Export Group. In 2015, she was a winner in the Entrepreneur en Action and Ose Entreprendre competitions. She was also a finalist in the Grands Prix de la relève d'affaires of the Regroupement des Jeunes Chambres de Commerce and received the Étoile Montante award in the Palmarès Premières en Affaires in 2021 and 2022.

Isabelle

Marquis

Isabelle Marquis is a nutrition, food marketing and communications professional with more than 20 years of experience. She possesses unique multidisciplinary know-how acquired both in consulting agencies and in food processing companies. Recognized for her rigour, her contagious passion and her strategic creativity, Isabelle is also an outstanding communicator who knows how to inspire as well as mobilize. As Director of Marketing, Mass Distribution and HRI at Groupe Première Moisson Inc. she was responsible for numerous innovation projects and product launches, in addition to actively contributing to business development in the Canadian and American markets. Today, Ms. Marquis is a freelance consultant who assists companies of all sizes in the Quebec and Canadian food sector with their communication, marketing and innovation strategies. Innovation Ambassador for SIAL Canada since 2018, she also contributes to specialized magazines and to the show L'épicerie on Ici Radio-Canada Télé.

Sara is co-founder of Unicone, a creative ice cream shop specializing in ice creams inspired by world desserts. Sara has a bachelor's degree in quality control in the food industry from Hassan II University in Casablanca and a master's degree in environmental management from the University of Sherbrooke. After some professional experience as a project manager in environmental management and training in business start-up, Sara decided to launch herself into entrepreneurship. Hence the creation of Unicone in 2019 with her sister Yasmine Atouk.
