Denis
Lalonde
Denis Lalonde is head of information, Investir and Les Affaires Plus for the newspaper Les Affaires. He has been working there since 2013, previously holding the position of editor-in-chief of the specialized publication Direction informatique for a little over three years. An accomplished journalist, Denis has also worked for the Journal de Montréal, the Internet portal Canoë and the Réseau de l'information (RDI). In 2011, he won the Innovation Award for Excellence in Science and Technology Journalism, Quebec media, presented by the Canadian Advanced Technology Alliance (CATA Alliance). He holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications (Journalism) and a certificate in written French from the Université du Québec à Montréal. He has also successfully completed the Canadian Securities Institute's Canadian Securities Course. Since 2013, he has also been a member of the Information Technology Program Review Committee of the School of Continuing Education at McGill University.


Annie
Marsolais
Annie Marsolais was appointed Chief Marketing Officer of the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) in 2018. With 20 years of experience in corporate communications and marketing, she oversees BDC's brand strategy and positioning, marketing, advertising, public relations, social media, and customer experience and social entrepreneurship across the country. Ms. Marsolais joined BDC in 2015 as Vice President, Marketing and Communications. She led a complete rebranding of the Bank in addition to the rollout of a new advertising and communications platform, resulting in increased recognition and awareness of BDC in the marketplace. Prior to joining BDC, Ms. Marsolais was Senior Director, Marketing Communications at TELUS, where she oversaw a multi-disciplinary marketing and corporate communications team for the Quebec region. Prior to that, she spent ten years at Yellow Pages Group, where she held various positions, including General Manager, Marketing and Corporate Communications. She was also Vice-President at Weber Shandwick, a world leader in public relations, in Montreal. Very involved in the community, Ms. Marsolais sits on the Board of Directors of the Marie-Vincent Foundation, which helps child victims of sexual abuse, as well as on the Strategic Council of the Institute for Confidence in Organizations (ICO) as a consultant. Ms. Marsolais holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from the Université du Québec à Montréal, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in French Literature from the Université de Montréal.
